The MTE-technique is indicated in following cases:
• Force applicable to the crown is insufficient
• Crown is broken of or to fragile
• Malformation of the crown
• Removal of root fragments
This system contains:
• Trocar system short, Trocar system long
• Chisel straight, Chisel offset
• Sharp curette, Loop, Luxator and short handle
• Drill sleeve
• Drill (not autoclavable!)
• Thread tap, Extraction screw
• Hammer
• Fragment forceps (to handle with great care, very fragile!)
• Autoclavable container
