The anatomy of the equine tooth and dentition is not only complex but also complicated by a prolonged dental development and highly dynamic changes with age. For this reason, the understanding of the equine dental and periodontal anatomy – as a prerequisite for the recognition and treatment of dental and periodontal diseases – remains incomplete without understanding equine specific dental embryology and dental / periodontal remodeling. The announced online-seminar will provide a comprehensive and combined look on selected embryological process, anatomical structures and remodeling mechanisms to explain the fascinating equine dentition.
